The lads were unlucky to not win against Navenby on Sunday. Although we are biased they played the better football and could have easily scored more goals with a bit of luck on their side. Saying that it was a good run out on a beautiful morning. A great goal from Joseph, followed by a spot kick from Will and nice finish from James capped off a good team display. Man of the Match went to Edward for his very solid central defensive performance stopping a number of certain goals many times during the game. It was good to see Matthew put in a very promising performance on his debut as well.

As we have a free Sunday this weekend the lads have asked if we can arrange a parents vs Welton Bombers game. You should have received a text ┬áseeing who is interested, at the moment it doesn’t look promising as number of people are away but will confirm later. Might try to arrange for the following Sunday (26th) if there is interest.

There another referees course planned on Nov 27th and this time it will be at Welton. This will be the last chance this year to take the free course and have a chance to practice your refereeing skills on a Sunday morning! Let me know ASAP if you are interested as places are limited to 50.

Our next league game is not until Nov 2nd away at Horncastle, travel details will be sent nearer the time.

See you all at training on Thursday night. Dave/Adam.
