Welton Bombers U12 (15/16) News – Aug 17th

Well you lads have certainly been practicing over the summer holidays! Great opening game friendly against Horncastle on Sunday. Good passing, talking, positional play and really impressive goals from Ged, Joe,Billy and Eli sealed the win. This season we will also be counting assists as we know they mean a lot to you guys so well done to Will (x2) and Eli, not sure about Eli’s goal but I am sure you will tell me at training this Thursday! Hope you enjoy the photos taken by Alfie’s Dad.

Training this Thursday 6.15-7.30pm on the grass
We will be working on fitness and  jockeying. Both will be important for our friendly this Sunday. Naturally we will have a good game at the end, if you can still walk 😉 !

We will also be selecting the goalkeeper for Sunday as Alfie is away.

Friendly match this Sunday – Lowland Bees Away – 2.15pm kick-off

This has always been a  hard game for us and will be a lot harder than last Sunday. These are the games where we will learn more though and learning not to jump in on tackles will give them far less chances to score and if you play your normal game will give them a few scares – I think they are expecting to win so lets make it really difficult! I will give your parents the address and please be there no later than 1.45pm.

Joe is captain for this game.
